Fund Management in the Cayman Islands – Changes to SIBL and Requirement for Economic Substance

The Cayman Islands has introduced important changes to the regulatory framework governing funds managers registered as “excluded persons” under the Securities Investment Business Law, which will require all such fund managers to re-register as Registered Persons.
