Gavin Lewis

Gavin has extensive experience of complex litigation and contentious regulatory work, with a particular focus on the financial sector.

He advises asset managers, banks, listed companies and wealth management firms on a wide range of advisory and disputes work, including investigations by the Securities and Futures Commission, Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Stock Exchange, Commercial Crime Bureau and Independent Commission Against Corruption in Hong Kong, in addition to other regulators around Asia, including in India, the PRC, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand. He also advises clients on internal investigations and reviews arising from compliance incidents, and in relation to anti-corruption.

In his litigation practice he has experience in complex creditor disputes, mis-selling claims, regulatory litigation, significant cross-border directors’ and shareholders’ disputes, auditors’ liability, disciplinary matters, private international and public law.
