Eddy So studied law at the University of Hong Kong and was admitted as a solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong in 2009. He is a Partner at Reed Smith Richards Butler, one of the top 15 largest law firms worldwide with offices throughout the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and Asia. He has been with the Hong Kong office of Reed Smith Richards Butler since 2007.

He is a solicitor experienced and specialized in regulatory investigations and enforcement actions. He has advised and is advising corporate and individual clients, including listed companies, directors, CEOs, CFOs, compliance officers, licensed persons, etc., on matters relating to the Listing Rules and the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Cap. 571) and various aspects of regulatory compliance and contentious issues. He has advised and acted for clients through various stages of the disciplinary process under the Listing Rules.
