Denise Wong is a Partner in the Global Corporate and Investment Funds Groups of Walkers’ Hong Kong office. She specialises in hedge funds and private equity funds, as well as all areas of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments and capital markets transactions.

Denise regularly advises investment managers on investment fund formation and ongoing matters. She has advised on numerous private equity fund formations as well as private equity investments. She also has an active corporate practice where she represents investors and corporates in connection with pre-IPO investments, joint ventures and listings on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Taiwan Stock Exchange, Nasdaq and NYSE.

Prior Employment Experience

Prior to joining Walkers in 2004, Denise was a corporate lawyer at Herbert Smith in Hong Kong where she specialised in corporate finance and general corporate matters. She has acted for investment banks and multi-national corporates on listings of companies on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange as well as mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
