Stephen Vine

Mr. Vine has practised company and commercial law in Hong Kong for over 20 years. Apart from having broad experience of mergers and acquisitions, banking and corporate finance matters, he has specialized in advising many local and international charities, clubs and non-profit organizations. He was the Honorary Secretary of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club for 6 years until 2008.

Born in Hong Kong, Mr. Vine has a BA in Modern Languages (French and German) from Oxford University. After studying law at Chester College of Law, Mr. Vine did his articles at Linklaters in London and then joined the Commercial Department of Deacons in Hong Kong in 1981 immediately after qualification. In 1988, Mr. Vine returned to the UK and continued to practice company and commercial law in Sussex and London for 6 years. Mr Vine is now a consultant at Oldham, Li & Nie.
