Mr. Eric is a partner in Zhong Lun Law Firm specializing in the development and financing of real estate, cross-border M&A and dispute resolution. He graduated from Zhongnan University of Eco&Law, University of Edinburgh and BBP Law School in the UK, and obtained bachelor’s degree in law, LL.M (Master of Laws) and CPE successively. He was qualified as a lawyer in PR China in 2002 and is proficient in Chinese, Cantonese and English.

Real Estate

Eric renders comprehensive legal services in every aspect of real-estate development, including pre-development planning, transfer of state-owned land use rights, construction, presale and sales of real estate, leasing, realty management, mortgage loans, the transfer of real-estate projects, urban renewal projects, project financing and investment (i.e. RETIS, ABS, BOT, BT, and PPP etc.). His clients include real estate developer, governmental authorities, commercial banks, investment funds and asset management companies. He has previously worked as a senior legal counsel in Kerry Properties Limited (HK) for many years.

Merger & Acquisition

Eric has extensive experience in M&A (both domestic and cross-border), during which he advises on the design of transactional structures, negotiates with counter parties, drafts and reviews relevant documentations.

Dispute Resolution

Eric represents clients in several real estate and construction related litigation and arbitration cases. With his abundant experience in dispute resolution, he brings a new angle to his clients in risk prevention.
