Amelia joined Walkers’ Hong Kong office in 2012 where she is Partner in the firm’s Global Corporate and Investment Funds Groups. Amelia specialises in corporate work with an emphasis on investment funds, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and listed company work.

Amelia regularly advises investment managers, investment banks, private equity houses, and sovereign wealth funds on the structuring and formation of hedge funds, private equity funds, ongoing operations and exit strategies. Amelia also has extensive experience in advising corporates and financial institutions on all aspects of corporate work.

Prior Employment Experience

Prior to joining Walkers, Amelia worked for another leading offshore firm in Hong Kong, and prior to that in the corporate department of Allen & Overy in Dubai where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, pre-IPO investments and general corporate matters. Amelia first qualified as a lawyer in the corporate department of Minter Ellison (Adelaide).
